Permanent Account Number (PAN)

In terms of SEBI circular dated April 27, 2007 and subsequent communication thereto and our addendum dated December 27, 2006 read with an addendum dated March 5, 2007 and June 29, 2007, Investor may note that w.e.f. January 1, 2008 PAN will be mandatory for all transactions of any value for all applications. Accordingly, Investor shall be mandatorily required to submit a photocopy of their PAN card, which shall have been either verified with the original or verified/attested by entities designated by AMC from time to time. Hence, submission of form 49A and/or declaration in Form 60/61 will not be accepted and applications not accompanied by a copy of the PAN Card, duly are liable to be rejected.

The requirement of providing PAN card copy is applicable to the existing investors of AMC as well. Existing investors will be required to provide the same in the manner as may be prescribed by AMC from time to time.

KYC Confirmation
In order to comply with regulatory provisions under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002, Rules issued thereunder and related guidelines/circulars issued by SEBI, KYC formalities are required to be completed for all Unit Holders, including Guardians and Power of Attorney holders, for any investment (whether new or additional purchase) of Rs. 50,000 or more in mutual funds W.E.F. February 1, 2008. For the convenience of investors in mutual funds, all mutual funds have made special arrangements with CDSL Ventures Ltd. (CVL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Depository Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL) www.cdslindia.com).

Investors could complete the formalities by submitting the KYC form (Click here for Individual KYC Form) / (Click here for Non-Individual KYC Form) and relevant documents at the Points of Services (POS). (Click here for List of POS) To start with, these POS will be the select branches / offices of mutual funds, registrars and select branches of some distributors.
